Empowering Arizona’s Mental Health Journey

Nancy V. Rivera, MSW, LCSW, CCHP-MH

Rooted in Ms. Rivera’s heartfelt vision, Cactus Heart Counseling is a space of warmth, connection, and gentle healing—like a cactus quietly blooming in the desert sun. Here, even in life’s driest and most difficult seasons, we believe resilience can grow, and hope can take root. Where Resilience Takes Root is more than a phrase—it’s a promise that you will be met with care, compassion, and understanding every step of the way.

Ms. Rivera, dually licensed in Arizona and Texas, is a bilingual clinical social worker with over 18 years of experience, walks alongside individuals and families through life’s most tender moments. As a first-generation Hispanic immigrant, mother, and lifelong learner, she brings a deeply human, culturally grounded, and loving presence into each session—creating a space where you can feel safe, seen, and truly supported as you heal and grow.
